deposit

A $300.00 deposit is required within seven days of booking a fishing charter or sunset cruise to hold the date. Upon booking, the Captain will contact you to confirm your trip and get deposit information.

Cancellation policy

We can reschedule your trip up to four weeks before the scheduled fishing charter or sunset cruise date. After that your deposit will be forfeited.

Inclement weather

The Captain will make all weather decisions. If your trip needs to be cancelled due to Southwest Michigan weather we will make every effort to contact you ahead of time to save you the drive. We will make every effort to reschedule your trip or we will refund your deposit.

motion sickness

There are many good, over-the-counter medicines for motion sickness. Prior to boating on Lake Michigan, please consult your physician if you are concerned about motion sickness. If the boat has to return to the dock early due to someone not feeling well, you will be charged the minimum for the trip you have booked.

Fishing license

All individuals fishing over the age of 16 must have a valid State of Michigan fishing license. You can purchase a one-day license at https://www.mdnr-elicense.com/Customer/Login?mode=0

Will I Need a Fishing License?

Yes. The DNR requires anyone over the age of 16 to have a valid Michigan fishing license. See "Fishing License" above for link to do so online.

What Type of Fish Will We Catch?

We will be catching Salmon and Trout. Chinook (King) Salmon, Coho Salmon, Lake Trout, Stealhead Trout, and an occasional Brown Trout will make up most of the catch.

What Do We Do With The Fish We Catch?

The Captain will clean and bag your catch when you get back to the dock.

What Do I Need to Bring?

A Michigan fishing license. Sunscreen. Sunglasses. A cooler with ice to take your catch home in. Snacks and drinks. A camera to capture your memories. Alcoholic beverages are allowed.

What Should I Wear?

You will want to dress for the weather. Often it is cooler on the lake than on shore. Layer up - Rain gear, warm clothes, etc. You can always take layers off.

What About Gratuities?

Gratuities are not included in the price of the charter but are very much appreciated. Typically gratuities start at 15% - 20%.
